Free, Sexy, Soulful Movement Dance Series with Anne Michiko Tangi

Come move and groove every Saturday with Anne to rhythms and movement from around the world as she guides you through playful sequences that culminate in a soulful choreography. Share as she holds space to connect breath, movement, music and your body's unique language. Throughout class Anne will also invite you to embrace your style and rhythm, moving however you move, creating in the moment.  

The community energy, combined with an eclectic playlist, will foster a safe space to let go and express yourself through conscious movement, music and self love.  

The last portion of class will include a cool down, a guided meditation and calming yoga poses to help you feel grounded and aligned for the rest of your day.

Expect a practice of yoga, pranayama, and meditation. You will learn how to create a practice to suit your needs, how to modify poses if needed and how to safely sequence poses to provide you with a practice that feels nourishing and will connect your mind and body with your breath!

Join us for a relaxing evening meditation every Thursday (except Nov. 23), as we gather as a group to create balance during the week through part of the holiday season. Brandee will lead a casual guided meditation using a
variety of simple, mindfulness meditation techniques which will vary weekly. 

Regardless of the meditation styles used, the intent is always simply to help you relax and quiet
the mind so that you may let go into a state of peace and equanimity, allowing you to go deeper
and enhance your meditation practice. Meditation helps us to de-stress while fostering
relaxation, self-awareness, focus, creativity and clarity of our physical, emotional, mental and
spiritual state.

No meditation experience necessary. These sessions are ideal for beginners to introduce
meditation with the support of a friendly, informal group, and great for experienced meditators
as well. Cushions and blankets provided for use. Dress comfortably and in layers.
