Fresh green herbs and warm flavorful spices are not only the key to easy, delicious, and nutritious meals, they also function as the earth’s own medicine cabinet. Join Nutritionist Shabnam Greenfield as she guides you through the medicinal and culinary uses of various herbs and spices. Learn which of these plants can help alleviate an upset stomach, prevent Alzheimer’s disease, and lower blood sugar. Wondering how to incorporate turmeric into your cooking? Or what meat pairs well with thyme? This workshop will give you the opportunity to learn these tricks and practice them as we use all our senses to experience nature’s bounty together.
